New York City: May 24, 2021 — Today Zach Iscol released the following statement about his latest campaign fundraising and expenditure filing, “Monday the 17th was one of the last major fundraising deadline in this race and our last opportunity to unlock matching funds from the 8-to-1 public funding program. I’m honored to say everyday New Yorkers helped position my campaign to embark on the ambitious, wide-reaching ad, digital, and outreach campaigns we’ve planned for the last 29 days of this race. Without their support I wouldn’t be able to say I’m the candidate who raised the most private funds. Our expected total raised – with matching funds – is approximately $3.3 million.
“Their investment in a better future for NYC, their belief in my plans and ideas for our city is humbling and motivating. I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m ready to put the faith New Yorkers have placed in me till now to work for them from within the Comptroller’s office.”
The City of New York needs a leader who understands what it means to serve others, someone who will roll up their sleeves and finally bring the City forward into the 21st Century. That person is Zach Iscol.
